With meticulous attention to detail and an agility, adaptability, and open-mindedness that allow him to effectively deal with a wide range of issues and individuals, Anthony Maier focuses his practice on estate planning and administration as well as civil and commercial litigation matters.
Anthony joined Adams | Howell after gaining relevant experience handling contested workers’ compensation matters and working on a variety of corporate and transactional issues. This combined advocacy and business background helps Anthony protect the interests of clients involved in disputes and assist those who require thoughtful and carefully prepared estate planning documentation that accomplishes their financial and personal objectives. He is particularly adept at issue spotting and analysis, providing insights on considerations, risks, or concerns that may otherwise escape his clients’ notice.
Having lived overseas for 10 years in France, Brazil, and China, and gaining corresponding multilingual fluency as a result, Anthony tailors his approaches to clients as well as opponents who bring diverse perspectives to the table. He appreciates how accounting for and addressing other points of view can play a significant role in resolving a dispute or developing an appropriate estate planning or asset protection strategy.
Anthony received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before earning his J.D. from Campbell University School of Law.
